Wedding Planning

The wedding is officially less then 3 months away. I'm so excited but feel like there is still so much left to do. The funniest story so far has been the stinking invitations... I spent hours and hours making them to perfection. Day in and day out for a few weeks (ok ok maybe just 2-3 hours a day for a few weeks) and they came out just as I had pictured in my head and I LOVED THEM. Then my sweet and caring fiance decided to put them in his car to bring them to me at work the next day and the sun got to them... not good. But, at least I found out then that the sun would warp them instead of getting phone calls from my close friends saying Heather what were you thinking..lol. So moral of the story: I ended up buying the darn things online anyways... they came in today and hopefully will be back out in the next two weeks. We are going Thursday to taste cakes YUMMY! and meeting with a photographer wed night. The only thing left on our list of wedding things to do this week is for me to fond a veil and for us to go register. I went and had zoom whiting Saturday, it stinks don't do it. I should have listened to my dad... and Felipe..lol, a friend did it though, how could I say no? We have named the new puppy Diego and he is so cute and has been spots personal trainer. As many of you know spot had almost doubled his weight in fat... He is looking amazing these days, female chihuahuas look out. The kids are doing great, Haley is plieing all over the house (her new ballet move) and Madalyn has been a great snuggle bug lately. Alden is finally 18... my new lil bro is growing up (hehe). We took a girls trip to San Antonio for spring break again, it was loads of fun! We never get tired of going and we were able to spend some time with Lisa and Bryan. I think that's about it, Thanks for checking in on us!

Octuplets Mother & family

When this story first broke into the news I have to regretfully admit that I was very harsh and judgemental in my opinions of the situation. Now that more time has gone by I have stepped back and been reminded of my personal faith. God DOES NOT make mistakes and EVERY baby is created for a reason. Eggs don't accidentally split and pregnancies aren't magically carried to viability. God has his hand and purpose in every life that he brings. It came to me today in prayer, yes I was praying for all those babies (the new ones and older siblings) that I'm not meant to understand all of his ways, he knows what he is doing and that is all that matters. I am now inspired and excited to see what God has planned for each of those babies and also intrigued to see how God puts people in their lives to help them morally, religiously, and financially grow to their fullest capabilities. Just as the Jews looked down on Mary our society is looking down on this mother, no I'm not implying that she is a chosen mother of the son of God or should be held up religiously, my point is that they couldn't comprehend the weight of the destiny that baby Jesus was about to fulfill just as we can not see into each of these children's future paths. It is our job as society to help this mother pull herself up and guide this 14 souls into salvation and to do Gods will and work. Just think what all those minds and hands could do in the name of God if giving the right tools and knowledge to grow as believers and doers... So this is my challenge to all of my Friends and family in faith, pray for them... pray for them often, that God is at a steady work carving away and molding them into amazing guiding lights to do his very will.

Feb is half way over!

Feb is half way over and I just realized spring break is around the corner! Looks like we will be taking the girls to Sea world again this year.. If I haven't told you already we have another new addition to our family. I came home last week from taking Madalyn and Alden to school and there was a little puppy shivering and very thin in our front yard. I was able to get him to follow me inside and Haley and I fed him and snuggled him to warm him up. With in an hour he was glued to my side and still thinks he should be my shadow. I did all the right things, I called the shelters and reported him found and also went to see if he had a chip. He did but it was never registered... he has a broken tail and a badly broken nail so Felipe and I decided that maybe God sent him to us so we would love him and care for him the way he should be. Flower Mound has a rule that you have to wait 5 days after finding a pet then you can claim it as your own... well day 5 was up this morning so he is officially ours!! YAYAY I think we are def going to need a bigger house VERY soon : ) I think that's all of the latest excitement with us and I will post new pics of all of us very soon. Thanks for checking on us!
